Plush Bear & Pink Piggy
The inspiration for this piece came from a playful reflection on my own daily life: the striking contrast between "work mode" and "weekend mode." Sitting at my craft table, I started making the diligent bear side first. I gave it wire-rimmed glasses and a neat plaid bow to represent our focused, responsible selves. But as I held the natural nut shell, I realized we all need a break. So, on the reverse side, I sculpted a carefree pig with messy pink curls and a bright snout. It’s a gentle reminder that you can be a hardworking bear on weekdays, and happily embrace your inner lazy pig on the weekend.
